The Second Severn Crossing (M4) is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the River Severn between Pilning in Gloucestershire and Magor in Monmouthshire, Wales. Opened in 1996, it carries the M4 motorway and is the main route for traffic between England and South Wales. Managed by National Highways, the bridge is subject to closures in high winds. It was renamed the Prince of Wales Bridge in 2018.
